I tested these Rev’it Ladies Airwave 2 textile trousers (which cost around £154.99) for one month, covering 2800 miles.
Made from lightweight textile with mesh panels that cover a third of the leg, these are unlined and have been ideal for this summer’s heat wave.
They are available in two leg lengths (regular and long) and with a combination of zip and popper closure and waist adjusters, they fit perfectly.
They were comfortable when I wore them for a ten-day European tour, apart from on one particularly long day’s ride, when the liner chaffed my inner thighs.
There is a short connecting zip and CE-approved hip and knee armour, the knee armour can be adjusted for a comfortable fit.
