Product review: Oxford Snug
Oxford Snug, £13.99 (£13.29 plus postage from MCN Shop)
Miles covered/time: 600/one month
What’s good: Like most decent kit, the Snug is very simple. The twin layer of fleece and ‘FibreTech’ work well together so you have a warm portion around your neck (blocking any breeze to your chest) and a thin, comfortable layer protecting your face from the cold.
It’s easy and quick to wear and extremely soft against your skin. It also comes in seven different colours, which is a good thing.
What’s not: The FibreTech section is extremely long compared to the ‘Polar Fleece’ section, meaning that you’ll have a lot of spare material to hand if you want to cover your neck with the fleece section.
This isn’t too much of a problem as I’d rather have too much material than too little.
