MCN's Acting Consumer Editor, Dan Sutherland, has picked today's bike of the day: Suzuki GSX-R750.
Dan says: "This 1996 GSX-R 750 SRAD is in great condition for its age – and has just over 15,500 miles on the clock! Though the lary paint scheme isn’t for everyone, I for one am a huge fan.
"Old school superbikes like this are starting to really increase in value, so why not grab a bargain while you still can."
On sale for £2,995 the seller adds: "This is the first year with carbs and is in absolutely amazing condition for its year. We believe this must be the cleanest 15k 750 in the UK, as it has never seen rain, and we took the fairings off for three photos to show how clean it is, the front of the crank cases still have the original shine."
MCN Ducati 748 1996-1999 review
"In 1996 Suzuki unveiled their new GSX-R750. The engineers had ditched the cradle frame, which had been a feature of the bike since it invented modern superbiking in 1985.
"They replaced it with a chassis developed from their RGV Grand Prix machine, crammed in a fallen angel of a motor and then sculpted the shape in a wind tunnel. The GSX-R750 is nothing less than a track thoroughbred."
