Product: Dainese Full Metal Racer gloves £195.73
Tester: Marc Potter
Miles covered/time: Untold track miles/many years
What’s good? They’re pretty much the same gloves that Rossi uses, except his have ‘VR’ written on them, and special Rossi colours. You can buy the exact reps but they’re £209.
I’ve had a couple of sets of these over the years and they’re my track refugees. Feel? They feel like you’re not wearing them and have holes in the fingers to cool your digits when it’s hot. They’re the ultimate race glove and I swear by mine. Previously I’ve been off in a set on track and they were just lightly scuffed.
What’s not? They’re at the saltier end of expensive. And white gloves are best used for poncing about on track as day-to-day they get too dirty.
