Glove review: Alpinestars Gore-Tex 365 gloves

1 of 1

Best thing about it: Absolutely peerless combination of waterproofing, protection and feel. So often, winter gloves sacrifice one in favour of the other – not these, they’re proper comfy and allow lever and throttle control on a par with some summer sports gloves.

They also come with the same knuckle protection featured on Alpinestars’ top-of-the-range GP Tech gloves, and fasten very securely with double Velcro at the wrist. Styling wouldn’t look out of place on a track day, either.

Worst thing about it: Although devastatingly waterproof, they do let some of the chills in on exceptionally cold days. Sub-zero temperature rides of longer than half an hour can result in icy fingertips.
