Knox Orsa gloves, £79.99

Tester: Andy Davidson

Time used: one year, 12,000 miles

What’s good? These are my go-to gloves when it gets a bit warmer. They’re lightweight, breathable, peppered with protection, supremely comfortable, look cool and are competitively priced. There’s a lot to love. They’ve been my trusty companions for thousands of miles and there are zero signs of wear and tear, the Orsas have held up extremely well and I’m very impressed with the quality.

What’s not? The Knox fastening system may look a bit alien to some and it’s easy to think there’d be a few niggles there. But there’s not, it has a low profile so it slips under my sleeve easily, you’ll get used to it quickly, it does away with fluffy Velcro, offers a more secure closure and is still going strong.
