Helmet review: Arai Condor
What’s good? It’s the plushest lid I’ve ever used. I’ve worn others since and compared to the Arai they feel heavy, poorly made and uncomfortable.
This lid is actually second-hand – it used to belong to fellow MCN staffer Alison Silcox – but you wouldn’t guess.
It could just be that I have an Arai-shaped head, but the fit is great and it doesn’t move around, even at high speed and the handy visor lock stops it from blowing open during life-savers.
- Compare and buy motorcycle helmets
What’s not? The only thing I don’t like is the Arai visor-change system – it’s personal preference, but I just can’t get on with it and feel like I’m going to snap the mechanism every time.
