Product Review: Spidi H2out Warrior Sport jacket

Product Review: Spidi H2out Warrior Sport jacket, £199.99

Tester: Andy Davidson

Time tested: Three months/1000 miles

What’s good? The Warrior is a lightweight, comfortable street jacket. I’ve been using the textile jacket on my ride home and have had a number of people comment on its looks. It is particularly well styled, isn’t too garish and has just enough colour to look cool yet subtle. It comes with a removable thermal lining and a fixed waterproof membrane - which I haven’t had a chance to test in the rain yet. It comes with shoulder and elbow protection but the back protector (£44.99) is an optional extra. Overall, it’s a stylish, everyday jacket. It’s not thick or warm enough for the winter months but perfect for the rest of the year.

What’s not? Even though it’s lightweight, I’d appreciate the odd vent. But my main criticism is aimed at the pockets. They’re placed rather high, so I when I lift my arms to open them the jacket rides up higher and I end up looking like a monkey.
