MCN Web Producer Liam Marsden has picked the top 3 bikes he would buy from MCN Bikes for Sale and why.
This week Liam fancies...
"Bikes like the Versys 650 often get pressed into year round use so they rack up the miles - and the road grime - pretty quick. This second generation Versys looks in great nick and it's only covered 5000 miles. They're seriously versatile bikes that are just at home on long motorway slogs as they are scraping foot pegs on a fast road ride. This one comes with a nice Arrow exhaust, top box, heated grips and vario screen. Its just a shame it's in the worst colour."
"KTM know what thhy're going when it comes to making incredibly fun single cylinder machines, and the 690 Duke is the best of the lot. It combines comfort and ease of use with a grin-inducing engine and razor sharp handling thanks to the low weight. What more could you want? Just get rid of the massive, unsightly screen on this example and you're good to go."
"Yeah, alright, the 899 might not have the same kudos as the 1199 or 1299, but the truth is it's equally as good, if not better, than the bigger machines. It's easier to get on with, handles better and due to the lower power it actually feels like you're riding the bike, as opposed to the bike riding you. Has to be the white one, though."
