Why it’s MCN’s pick:

Unfairly labelled as a touch on the dull side, a fact not helped by its name which sounds a little too close to tedium when said out loud, the TDM900 is a solid commuter that shouldn’t be overlooked. Well, not if you are after a bike for hammering out the miles. Yes, it’s not great looking. Yes, the parallel twin motor only makes a fairly modest 74bhp. And yes, it is certainly a bit of an oddball, but if you read the owner’s reviews on MCN you will discover a lot of love for Yamaha’s weird street bike. And at £3500, this one with less than 9000-miles on its clocks is a beauty. If such words can be used to describe a TDM900…

Seller says:

“The lowest mileage TDM currently on sale. This bike comes with a full service history with 11 stamps in the service book. In fantastic condition and fitted with genuine Yamaha colour-matched panniers, it also has crash bobbins, a tinted flip-up screen and a Scottoiler. Complete with all books and keys. A great opportunity to secure this superb adventure sports bike.”
