The Suzuki Gladius, like the Suzuki SV, is a great first big bike and can be restricted to meet A2 licence requirements. There’s plenty of power and torque to keep more experienced riders interested, but the bike is pliable and forgiving with progressive handling that is ideal for gaining experience.
The Gladius’ looks can be a sticking point for some, but it has aged well and almost fits in with more modern naked middleweights like the Kawasaki Z650, Honda CB650F or Yamaha MT-07.
