EDZ windproof neck warmer, £15 (from £13.95 on MCN Shop)
Miles covered/time: 20,000/two years
What’s good? I’ve used this neck warmer for the past two winters and it has proved to be a warm and unobtrusive fit keeping me both warm and comfortable on short blasts and lengthy motorway jaunts alike.
I’m now in the middle of my third winter with it, and it’s become an essential part of my riding wardrobe. It’s even retained most of its elasticity. Highly recommended.
What’s not? There’s very little to criticise but it could always be slightly longer in the chest region to cover more of the part of me that’s exposed to chill. This is remedied by the wearing of a decent mid-layer (EDZ’s light thermal layer costs £30).
