Calling all riders in north Yorkshire

Riders in North Yorkshire please be aware. On a popular stretch of the A65 in North Yorkshire between Settle and Kirby Lonsdale,  there is someone swooping round the bends, squirting and braking from gap to gap in the traffic, looking every inch like a rich daddy’s boy racer son (of a b—-). This is not the expected Imprezza WRX formerly utilized by the cont-stab-you-larry, but an anonymous...

Police should THINK

Well the statement below is very true. They should in fact look at sending this out to all local police stations as I have had one motorcycle accident in my life and it was non other than the police who smashed into me. They then got out of their big 4×4 and said ‘oh sorry pal we didnt see you!!!!!!’ “We are committed to improving motorcycle safety. That is why last year we spent around £1.5m on...

2007 XT660X catch

I have recently purchased a 2007 XT660X, only to find out that in fact it is a new (May 2006) 2006 model. Maybe I was the fool for buying a 2006 XT at 2007 prices! I returned to the dealer in earnest and was told that the 2006 model was no different than the 2007, apart from a few decals. After numerous phone calls, I was offered £200 as a goodwill gesture, which I had to spend in the shop.

Beware of pedestrians

After visiting my mother I was travelling back home on my Yamaha Dragstar XVS1100, when I approached a set of traffic lights on red. In front of me was a bus and a van, both indicating left. I was in second gear, slowing down getting ready to stop when the lights changed to green.  I filtered past the van and bus to go ahead when the bus suddenly stopped. As I was half way down the side of it, I...
